It's been almost 2 months since we are engaged, and now, we are finally getting serious in our wedding planning! Previously we didn't have much chance to do proper planning because I was in Jakarta for work for 2 weeks during early August, and after that we were busy preparing for our Animangaki band performance till last Sunday. Now after all these are done, we finally can settle down and get the ball rolling till we tie the knot!
I've decided to start blogging on our planning process so that we would have some fun and sweet memories documented, and I believe that in the future when we look back at all these written memories, it will surely give us a warm and snugly feeling :3
So......What we have now is just a rough budget planning, a list of venues to hold our wedding banquet, and a gantt chart (yesh...gantt chart... :D) of the overall timeline for the tasks to be done till the wedding date. We decided to put our planning date to June 2016, but the exact date is unsure yet as we need to get confirmation for the venue and date of the wedding banquet first.

So far, we had chosen Sin Choi Wah Restaurant as our top choice to hold our wedding banquet, because it can hold more that 800 guests per hall and heard that the food there is nice. We might be having a parents-to-parents meeting this Sunday night to discuss on the wedding details as well as testing out their wedding menu, and if everything is good to go, we will make a booking for the venue that night itself.
OMG I feel excited already even though the meeting is not confirmed yet...
Tomorrow, we'll be going to Pathlab, Damansara Utama, to do a pre-marital blood test. I never really thought of doing this so soon, because in our timeline, we actually put this at the near end. But after mom told me that it's better to do the test as soon as possible to discover if we have any health issues in the beginning of our planning, so that we won't get into any kind of conflict due to the health issues (if any).
Health issues that might deter child bearing she said... O_o!
I was getting really paranoiac about this, because I never really liked going to visit the doctors in the first place. I'm not afraid of the needles, but I just don't like to be told that I have unexpected health issues. Not that I have been diagnosed with any unexpected illness before, but I always have this paranoia of knowing my own health status.
Maybe it's just me watching too much dramas 8'D
Well, report will only be ready after 3 days, so I guess for the future 3-4 days, I need to either forget about it, or LIVE IN CONSTANT PARANOIA!! God, please help me calm down and stop me from thinking too much...
I'm still unsure what kind of theme that we want for our wedding. Been pinning ideas into our pinterest board, and so far what catches my eyes are red, white, gold and brown themes. Will keep on searching for inspirations first~
